About Voga Marine
Performance Watercraft Built from Experience, Refined Through Practice
Voga Marine designs and builds performance watercraft based on experience, practical knowledge and continuous testing on the water with riders of various backgrounds and skill levels.
From foil boards to bespoke watertoys and composite parts, each project is developed with a focus on efficiency, reliability and real-world usability.
A Practical Approach to Design
Rather than being driven by theory, Voga Marine’s approach is rooted in experience.
Design choices come from time spent on the water, testing, refining and understanding how boards behave in real conditions.
When needed, we collaborate with engineers and technical partners to support development, but the core of the process remains performance-driven and hands-on.
Origins
Voga Marine was founded through the collaboration between Anthony Tommasi and Frédéric Faure.
Frédéric brings over 30 years of experience in the marine industry, including shipyard management, preparation of sailing yachts for racing, and board shaping across multiple disciplines—windsurf, surf and SUP—in the Mediterranean, the Basque Country and the United States.
Anthony’s background combines entrepreneurship, adaptability and a strong attention to detail, shaped from an early interest in building and design.
Voga Marine began as an ambitious project, built with limited means, driven by a shared focus on creating functional, well-designed watercraft.
From Paddle Boards to Foiling
The first Voga Marine products were bespoke luxury SUP boards developed for superyachts, combining advanced composites with high-end finishes.
This work naturally evolved toward foiling, where hydrodynamics, weight distribution and structural design play a central role.
Early developments included dedicated pump foil boards and mid-length wing foil designs that anticipated emerging trends and new ways of riding.
Performance by Experience
At Voga Marine, performance is developed through practice.
Each board or watercraft is the result of continuous testing, feedback and refinement, with a focus on glide, stability, efficiency and control.
This hands-on approach allows us to develop solutions that work in real conditions, not just in theory.
Team and Network
Voga Marine operates through a network of collaborators including riders, craftsmen, engineers and specialized partners.
This allows us to combine practical experience with technical input when needed, ensuring that each project benefits from both hands-on knowledge and targeted expertise.
Clients and partners play an active role in this process, contributing to the evolution of each product.
Looking Forward
Voga Marine continues to develop new solutions across foiling, watertoys and composite applications.
The objective remains simple: build efficient, reliable and well-designed watercraft that perform in real conditions.
Each project reflects this ongoing process of testing, learning and improving.
