D3, before becoming David Desage Design, is above all a story of encounters and a passion for the sea and board sports.
After spending his childhood in the Caribbean on a sailboat, between windsurfing and sailing, David discovered surfing and coastal rescue in Southwest France before becoming a captain in the tropics.
His journey then led him to work in the manufacturing of masts and sails in Asia, where he managed a large sailmaking company for eight years.
Back in Brittany, he took over a sail loft on the Rhuys Peninsula, developed new technologies, and founded D3, a local brand born from his passion and close connection with the Morbihan riding community.
